Quatre Saisons may be purchased in two different packages:

The CD ...

• The CD presents 15 action songs and 20 action rhymes for use throughout the year. The vocabulary has been kept simple for young learners and a native speaker provides a clear language model for children and non-specialist teachers to copy.

• The tunes are catchy, easy to learn and are presented in a variety of styles. Instrumental versions are included on the CD. Children are encouraged to link words with actions, rhythm, rhymes and music as a memorising strategy. Above all, children enjoy learning and repeating the songs and rhymes.

• The action songs and rhymes, most of which are original, can be used in conjunction with many of the A4 copymaster illustrations.

• Language topics include seasons and weather, action verbs, body nouns, numbers, colours, big and small, animals, the natural world, people, days of the week and Christmas in France.
