This copiable story-based resource book and CD present three well-known folk-tales, “Le ciel s’effondre” (Chicken Licken) ,“La grande crêpe” (The big pancake), “La vieille dame qui avale une mouche” (The old woman who swallows a fly). The three stories, suitable for Primary School children, are read on the CD by a native speaker. Each story is followed by activities based on the topic and language of the story. The book contains photocopiable storyboards and activity sheets for reading, writing, matching, sequencing, colouring and counting. Ideas are given for literacy tasks based on cultural information related to the story topics. The language used in all the activity sheets is read on the CD by a native speaker and can be used for listening, reading and writing activities.
